On my last visit, we were talking to an English couple, who made an arrangement at the airport with a taxi driver, who upon arrival refused to hand over their luggage, until they paid more than double. He denied the initial price. Also the drop off point being the lodge, not the park entrance. Steve

I'm not Chloe, but I can share my experience. I took a private car, and was able to negotiate a good deal with the driver. I paid him $40 and he took me there, waited for me, and brought me back. You might still need to pay that much for a one-way trip, though. I took this trip four weeks ago.
