The 75-hectare large animal theme park is located on the site of the former Cistercian Cambron Abbey, and is home to over 7,000 animals. The name is taken from the Avestan word pairi daēza, which is the source of the Persian word paradise.

We go back to Paira Daiza again and again - spending 5 hours each time - and still find more to see each time. It is a spectacle in itself - even before you look at the animals! It is not cheap to visit but clearly they are ploughing the money back into the park to make it even better.
