Just look for the site that does not list any travel company in its address ... if you are looking for skip the line or prepay for tickets Trip Advisor or Viator are the best ... a little more $ …

Just look for the site that does not list any travel company in its address ... if you are looking for skip the line or prepay for tickets Trip Advisor or Viator are the best ... a little more $ than the official site but we'll worth it .. much easier at entrance time ... we used it and we're in the Colleseum in 10 minutes

Try to get a ticket that includes the underground area. I believe they are released a month in advance and sell out very quickly. Personally, I find the Colosseum too busy to be enjoyable. …

Try to get a ticket that includes the underground area. I believe they are released a month in advance and sell out very quickly. Personally, I find the Colosseum too busy to be enjoyable. It's heaving with tourists - understandably - so difficult to 'soak up' anything. You may want to consider visiting Ostia Antica, which is much quieter and more extensive. You can get there by Metro.
