Fonthill Castle is like no other castle I've seen. You will not see a lot of draperies, faded wallpaper, or over-stuffed furniture. Instead, you will see Gothic architecture, narrow, winding stairway… Full review by Doris S

Yes, winding and uneven. If there are ambulatory issues i would not attempt.

Oh dear! I am very sorry to say that this place is definitely not wheel chair accessible. In fact, the uneven steps and small stairs which make this place unique and special make it challenging for many people who do not use a wheel chair. You could probably get into the tiny vestibule to have a look around, but would not be able to do a tour.
