Hi Thanks for your question! I visited the castle at about 11:00 morning and spent about 3 hours there although I can see myself spending full day if not few days there I am very sorry but I am not sure about visiting after hours I know for sure that they illuminate the castle at night and it's stunning but I m not sure about getting inside?! I am not Japanese so I didn't bother reading all rules written in Japanese If this is the only time you can come then may I suggest to get in touch with them on their web site and I am sure they will answer your question I am sorry I cannot be more helpful but it's the best I can do for you! Please make an effort to get inside as it's very very special experience to touch timber 400 years old which was maybe touched by great samurai warlords!! Good luck ABD I hope you can make it!!

Q:
Hi. Can we bring small backpacks to the castle - is there a cloakroom to store them? Thank you.
A:
We took a small backpack that had our camera and lenses in it. Although we didn’t use the checked bags, I believe there is a place to store some smaller things for a small fee.
