This museum is fabulous. Whether one has interest in classical or modern pieces, one can find them. We also had lunch at Cornelia's, the restaurant at AKG, and had delicious meals. Full review by ccbarb1

You are incorrectly assuming wrong thoughts I have on art at AKG. I said nothing wrong with AKG art subjects. My concern applied only to the building aspects. Have visited this gallery many times over the years. I do admit I prefer the classics but am open to contemporary as well.

Hello! It depends on which outdoor concert you are interested in. The Buffalo News Summer Jazz Series takes place on the museum's Delaware Stairs overlooking Hoyt Lake on five Sundays in July and August. You can find more information by going to our website and clicking on "Events," then searching for Event Type > Music and Performances. We also recently held Rockin' 2017, a large outdoor rock concert in our parking lot. This fundraising concert will happen annually and has different rules and regulations than the Summer Jazz Series. Stay tuned to our website for more information about Rockin' 2018.

Yes, the address is 1285 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo, New York 14222...the phone # is 716-882-8700. It is across the street from SUNYBuffState (college) and has a U shaped drive way and a huge sculpture of shiney metal canoes. There is an automated parking lot in front of the structure. You will need to take the ticket inside to pay along with the admission fee. Enter the doors in the modern dark glass area on the U driveway. The street to the north of the property is Iroquois Drive and to the east is Lincoln Parkway. Sometimes you can find on street parking on Lincoln Parkway, but the only entrance is on the front of the building facing Elmwood Ave. Hope this helps!
