We will be going to JFL in Montreal for the first time and have a few questions. Is it necessary to pre-purchase passes or are they available on site? Also, I only see 2 shows listed on the events calendar, the nasty show and the ethnic show, are there other shows available that just are not listed? I assume there must be smaller shows throughout the week that are just not listed? Any help/tips would be much appreciated.

What I did was purchase tickets in advance for a show I really wanted to see and then bought tickets on site for other smaller shows during the festival. I bought tickets in advance last year probably 1 month or less before the show.
