Lorane is a census-designated place in Exeter Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. The population was 4,236 at the 2010 census. Located on the Schuylkill River, US Route 422 runs through the town. A post office was established at Exeter Station in 1861, the post office was renamed Lorane in 1900, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1955.
