The stated hours are pretty much a guideline. For the most part, 10am to 4pm, Wednesday through Sunday. The reason the place was locked up when the above gentleman went by is the museum was at a public display. With a small staff that is ALL volunteer, it's very difficult to be in two places at the same time. How do I know this? I'm a volunteer there, part of the time.
