We were not in Plymouth for the waterfront, but this is the beach and was a nice change from the busy harbor filled with boats. It is a very pretty beach and a really nice play place for the kids. … Full review by XerkUSA

Yes it is. The beach has no waves and the bathrooms are very accessible. The area is small with shade trees too. The beach is a bit rocky so you do need water shoes. Because the parking lot is small the beach is not crowded. You can bring chairs and sit on the beach. Enjoy. Mostly families are there.

Yup. On leash, to be safe. There are dog bags provided and trash containers. Bring my doggos there year round. If you want to get away from people, the beach is longer than you think, so wind your way north, past the lovely condos that live along the beach, to trees and ocean. Unless the tide is very high, as you wouldn’t walk on private property above the high tide line, so as not to trespass. There’s also a flat trail along the old railroad bed you can walk. Lovely ocean viewing. Reached from the smaller sort of back parking lot. Options!
Q:
Is the park pet friendly?
A:
Yes I saw people there with dogs on leashes.
