The Rapa Nui National Park comprises about 40% of the island, and is composed of several sites, not just one. To fully enjoy the island, you’ll need to buy a National Park Pass. At the airport, you’ll see a booth as soon as you enter the Arrivals building. We choose to rent a vehicle and forego guided tours. The island is easy to navigate on your own, and you can spend as much time as you like at each site.
