All I can say is BEAUTIFUL Scenary, the flowers,shrubs and the trees, just a BEAUTIFUL place to visit, and it was free. Their are parts of the park that wanted a little fee, we were there too early … Full review by Brisbin

Having such an oasis in the middle of the city is like finding a hidden gem. It would be a great place to go and have your lunch if you were working just to get away from the hustle and bustle. Full review by Nomad28500508937

Beautiful gardens. Free of charge unless you visit Japanese garden it’s only $5. Great place to take family. Dog friendly. Like butterfly house for young ones. Full review by theresepuckett

Bass Pro's Anglers Inn is about 3-4 miles away on Sunshine St. Off the James River Bypass and Kansas Expressway, there is a Quality Inn and Woodspring Suite. If you are on I-44 or near the airport, The LaQuinta or Courtyard by Marriot is a fairly direct route, down West Bypass, then east on Sunshine. While we do not have any hotels within walking distance, you can reach the garden in 20 minutes or less from any hotel in Springfield.

Are there scooters or whelchairs to rent?

We have an accessible tram that circles the park Sat & Sun from 1-5pm. There is a wheelchair at the Japanese Garden available to borrow anytime.
