The most visited spot in Hawaii, this majestic floating memorial honors those who died during the WWII Pearl Harbor attack.

Learned and saw alot of interesting info about Pearl Harbor. Very touching and recommend that everyone see it. Seeing the ship was amazing as well. Full review by Lonjo4

Yes you can catch a boat/water taxi round trip to USS Arizona from the pier right next to the main Pearl Harbor Visitor Center/Museum. Easy walk from the exhibits and gift shop. However, highly recommend you reserve a spot in advance on recreation.gov in order to guarantee entry. This is a very popular attraction and most walk-ins are turned away
How do I get to the aviation museum from the USS Arizona memorial? Do I have to get the boat back to the visitor center then the shuttle to Ford Island? Looking at self guided day rather than guided tour. Thanks.
I plan to be there in middle of September. We are staying on Kalakaua Avenue. I want to buy tickets on the rec.gov website. Do I take a cab to Arizona Memorial Plaza and is this where I get the trip out to the Memorial? Thanks US Navy 1969 to 1973.

Thank you for your service! Purchasing tickets online you will pay a "convenience fee" as the tickets themselves are free. We used lyft while in the island and had a great experience - cheaper too! The park is very accessible to everyone and easy to navigate. I recommend seeing the exhibits first before the boat ride to the memorial. Incredibly moving and emotional experience. I hope you find it as amazing as we did!
The website says the memorial boat tour is closed indefinitely. Does anyone know why and how long it's been this way? We are visiting in January. So disappointed to hear this.

The website show that the boats are not running to the actual memorial. The park is open, the museums are open but you will not be able visit the USS Arizona. The website does not state why the boats aren't running. I suggest that you call. Here is the number 808 422-3399.
