This is a nice museum with a good variety. It of course has the iconic Chihuly but there are other great artists here too. We particularly enjoyed the children’s artwork that were made into glass art…Full review by laurenpc123

When you go to an Art Museum, plan on spending time looking at the art work. After all, it's being shown for a reason. You haven't seen the art if you run through the building in an hour or two. You need to stop and really look at what's in front of you. Much that we call art communicates visually, without words, so you need to really see the "art," if you are to understand why it's there....Why was it chosen or purchased for that particular space? What does it say about the world around you? Why is this selected over the millions of other pieces of art that could be shown? If you really look, you'll have a sense of understanding. The space will speak. It has to others. Then you too will see why it is here.......or not.

Yes it is a kid friendly musuem. There was a room behind the entrance were a craft project of making paper hats was being worked on with families. The hot shop gallery is perfect for viewing. The displays are spaced far apart so you don't have to worry about bumping into them. However-no running.
