Great views, easy walk with steps , coffee van en route. Dogs would like it. Parking decent and free. We used all trails walking route. Full review by 856rupalig
Hi Karen Do you mind me asking where exactly the summit is? We've got a trip planned there with family (who are travelling a long way) this weekend but am a little unclear of exact location/satnav etc. Also, we've got my elderly mum (84) who won't be able to walk that far so anywhere to park? #thanks v much. The footpaths are obvious but if you are expecting signposts or trail markers then no there aren't many at all. It doesn't really warrant it really though because the Pike is almost always visible and Winter Hill beyond it are easily visible so getting lost is almost impossible.
Is Rivington open again? 2 weeks ago the paths up from the top barn were still closed after the fires.
