The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly still among the teams in the mix to land 39-year-old free agent forward Al Horford.

For the last four seasons, he has been playing for the Boston Celtics, where he has achieved great success, including winning the NBA Championship in 2024, the first of his career. Last season with the Celtics, Horford averaged 9.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.

There have been reports that the Los Angeles Lakers could still be interested in landing Al Horford, despite signing Deandre ayton and re-signing Jaxson Hayes. However, according to a recent report from Zach Lowe, it doesn't sound likely that Horford will play for the Lakers.

The Boston Celtics are about to lose Al Horford as teams like the Lakers and Warriors show interest in the free agent center.
