Reddit is suing artificial intelligence startup Anthropic for what it’s calling a breach of contract and for engaging in “unlawful and unfair business acts” by using the social media company’s platform and data without authority.

The social platform alleges that Anthropic used data from Reddit to train its AI. Anthropic denies the claims.

Represented by John Quinn of Quinn Emanuel, Reddit claims the maker of Claude AI is in breach of contract by using its content for training.
