Oscar-winning lyricist Alan Bergman, who co-wrote songs including 'The Way We Were' and 'The Windmills of Your Mind' with wife Marilyn Bergman, has died. He was 99.

With his wife, Marilyn, he wrote the words to memorable TV theme songs and the Oscar-winning “The Way We Were” and “The Windmills of Your Mind.”

He wrote songs with his late wife, Marilyn Bergman, for more than 50 years, collaborating with the likes of Astaire, Sinatra, Streisand, Hamlisch and Legrand.
