The organization named Reese to the 2025 Gala Host Committee in February alongside a slate of Black leaders in the arts, fashion, sports, music and film industries. Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is an honorary chair of the committee, which is led by Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour.

Before they stepped on the court on Tuesday, Chicago Sky star Angel Reese and her teammates showed their fashion sense in the Windy City with their head-turning pregame outfits. Ahead of the Sky's showdown against the Minnesota Lynx at Wintrust Arena, Reese made quite a statement with her arrival, as she was seen wearing a stylish ensemble.

At the end of a busy few days, the Sky looked solid in their first game back at Wintrust Arena. They got key plays at the end by Hailey Van Lith and Alex Wilson to get the win.
