While Avelo will no longer serve the western US, the airline will continue to serve what Goff called an east coast network of over 40 cities both domestic and international that will extend from Manchester, New Hampshire in the northeast to the Dominican Republic and Cancun to the south and as far west as Dallas and Chicago.

“Our West Coast closure has no effect on our Connecticut service or operations,” said Courtney Goff, Communications Manager for Avelo Airlines. “We are in the planning phases of relocating the three planes to the East Coast, so only positive outcomes for our East Coast airports.”

Avelo flies to Las Vegas and smaller west coast cities such as Salem and Eugene, Oregon, Palm Springs and Sonoma County. The airline has been impacted by ongoing demonstrations and a customer boycott over its decision to operate ICE deportation flights. Its bases on both the east and west coasts have seen protests.
