Ben Healy became the fourth Irish rider to earn the Tour de France’s yellow jersey on Monday with a gritty ride in the fabled race’s first mountainous stage.

Tadej Pogačar powered to an impressive stage win on the first day in the Pyrenees to take back the Tour de France yellow jersey on Thursday.

Pogacar was also sporting dressings on his left arm after falling at the end of Wednesday's stage, but the Slovenian showed no ill effects as he attacked on the gruelling final climb.
