David Brom, convicted of killing four family members with an ax in their home on the outskirts of Rochester in 1988, is set to be released later this month because of a change in state law. After more than 35 years behind bars,

David Brom, the man behind one of Rochester's most infamous crimes, is expected to be released from prison, according to the Minnesota Department of Corrections' website, on a work release program.

At the end of the month, convicted killer David Brom will leave his Anoka County prison cell and begin a new life chapter.
