The thrills and chills came in bunches. The area’s top players and top teams produced max effort, high energy and wild excitement throughout the 2024-25 girls basketball campaign. Now, we celebrate that verve and vivacity by recognizing the elite players from our 24-school coverage area with the 2025 MLive Bay City Girls Basketball Dream Team.

From Lonzo and LaMelo Ball to Cooper Flagg and Zion Williamson, the USA TODAY High School Sports team drafted the best recent high school players.

The Daily Reporter Boys Basketball Dream Team Most Valuable Player- Kam Brackett, G, Bronson, Sr. - Brackett averaged a county leading 20.9 points per game this season to go along with 4.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 4.0 steals a game, earning MVP honors based on a vote by The Daily Reporter sports staff.

This year's all-area teams to close the 2024-25 season include the three area Ms. Basketball finalists, while each of the 15 players on the first, second and third teams was named to the main roster or the honorable mention list of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association's all-state teams.

A three-time player of the year, a four-year force and a Lewis-Clark State signee top the all-state selections.
