North Texas is facing a stretch of hot, humid weather with a rising threat of storms. First Alert Weather Days are in effect Saturday through Monday, with isolated storms possible Saturday night and a greater risk of severe weather and flooding from Sunday into Monday.

SUNDAY: Sunday’s risk for rain and storms begins early. A few storms are possible along and north of Highway 278 just after midnight. Strong storms will come in waves through Sunday afternoon. High temperatures will be in the low and mid-80s on Sunday.

Storms this afternoon could be strong to severe with the chance for damaging winds, heavy rain, and hail. Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will continue through the weekend.
