Joely Richardson is taking a trip down memory lane as she mourns the loss of her former costar. On Friday, July 4, Julian McMahon 's wife Kelly revealed that the Charmed actor had died on July 2 following a private cancer battle. He was 56.

Joely Richardson shared a tribute to her late Nip/Tuck co-star Julian McMahon following his recent death, commemorating the time they spent together on the breakout Ryan Murphy medical drama in which they played two points on a major love triangle also featuring Dylan Walsh.

According to a report from the Pinellas County Medical Examiner's Office obtained by People magazine, the TV star died from lung metastasis, as a result of head and neck cancer. The death was ruled natural, and McMahon has since been cremated, the report adds.
