The Huskers played host to in-state rival Creighton on Tuesday afternoon. The Bluejays took down Nebraska, pulling away in the ninth for a 9-5 win.

Creighton would capture the lead again in the top of the 7th, a leadoff walk (one of 3 in the inning) again came back to bite Nebraska. A double, followed by a 2 RBI single put the Jays on top 6-4. Two of the walks and another single in the inning came on full counts.
