Nvidia Corp. Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang expressed confidence in his company’s trade partners and said there’s no evidence of its prized semiconductors being diverted to the Chinese market.

Nvidia is evaluating how to address the China market after the U.S. government placed limits on sales of its Hopper H20 chip there but it will not put out another version of the Hopper chip, CEO Jensen Huang said on Saturday.

Nvidia plans to open a research-and-development center in Shanghai, its latest effort to maintain a foothold in China after the Trump administration’s attempts to tighten export controls for its AI semiconductors.
