A line of strong storms moved into North Texas Sunday night, bringing gusty winds of up to 65 mph, torrential downpours and the risk of hail. Parts of North Texas were under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning ,

Another round of storms will be possible Tuesday. A few storms could contain up to 60 mph wind gusts and up to quarter-size hail south of North Texas. Storm coverage will be less than Sunday night. These storms originated in West Texas and New Mexico on Monday afternoon and have held together long enough to reach North Texas.

The storms have moved to the southeast, and North Texas is looking at a quieter day ahead. Morning temperatures near 70 will warm into the mid-to-upper 80s Monday afternoon as skies begin to break up. Another disturbance could bring showers and a few storms to the southwest early Tuesday morning.
