The Yankees are evaluating center fielder Trent Grisham's hamstring strain and whether he needs to head to the injured list.

TORONTO — The Yankees went to bed Monday night fearing a potential injured list stint for Trent Grisham, so much so that they had Triple-A outfielder Bryan De La Cruz fly north of the border by Tuesday morning. But Grisham woke up feeling better than expected and then went through pregame activities that offered hope he may be able to avoid the IL.
