After debuting on the Aviary Bar's menu in the 1970s, the Jungle Bird hit the international radar when John J. Poister included Ong's cocktail recipe in his The New American Bartender's Guide in 1989.

Creature Comforts and Tip Top Cocktails make up the union and the beach-y beer officially drops today. Aptly dubbed Jungle Bird, the beer is inspired by the signature tiki cocktail of the same name.
