As of this writing, the Cincinnati Bengals remain highly unlikely to trade star defensive end Trey Hendrickson. While the contract standoff doesn’t sound any closer to ending despite Hendrickson being in town, both parties have plenty of time between now and training camp to get something done.

That's what Bleacher Report predicts: They project that Hendrickson will get traded to the Detroit Lions. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Cincinnati Bengals resumed contract talks with Trey Hendrickson after the team wrapped up mandatory minicamp in June.

Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer noted the Bengals' contract questions entering training camp this week and the "unpredictable" Trey Hendrickson situation. The star defensive end has been adamant about not playing this season unless he gets a new contract.
