A trooper has been removed from duty and put on unpaid leave after allegedly crashing a patrol car while impaired.

A spokesperson with OSHP said the student was crossing Harmon Road in a crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle heading southbound. The crosswalk lights were not activated when the incident happened.
