MSNBC's star presenter Rachel Maddow has been mocked by conservatives on social media after condemning her network's decision to cancel Joy Reid's show ReidOut as "a bad mistake."

"In all of the jobs I have had, in all of the years I have been alive, there is no colleague for whom I have had more affection and more respect than Joy Reid. I think it is a big mistake to let her walk out the door.
