Starbucks fans are not hot about this cold drink change. Cold coffee orders will no longer come in a plastic cup in some Starbucks locations — rather, they’ll be served in fiber-based compostable cold cups.

Starbucks is once again causing cup controversy, not with their annual Christmas cups, but rather the new compostable cups now being used for iced drinks.

Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol said the chain was considering letting customers choose when they pick up their mobile orders as it seeks to boost sales.
