An apparent leak has exposed the phone numbers and texts of millions of Steam accounts, but account security wasn't compromises.

Valve has confirmed that your Steam password, or other private information, did not leak. On top of that, Valve stated that the leak came from a different source than Steam, and does not provide info linked to your Steam account in any way you need to worry about.

Steam users may be at risk as a reported data breach exposes 89 million account details. Users are urged to change passwords and enable two-factor authentication.
