The 'Harry Potter' television series has gone into production, with more casting news and photos set to be released over the coming weeks.

This is the first time, however, we're seeing the actors in their Hogwarts garb. Below, see the cast of "Harry Potter" side-by-side with the actors from the original movie series, which started in 2001 and concluded in 2011.

Recent reports suggest that Lord Voldemort has been cast for HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter television reboot, though the actor's identity has not been officially disclosed. Filming began in July 2025 at Leavesden Studios, where the original film series was also shot.
