Top-ranked tennis player Jannik Sinner returns to action at the Italian Open 2025 after serving a three-month doping ban.

Jannik Sinner was just as surprised by which fellow players sent him messages of support at the start of his three-month doping ban as those who sent nothing.

Carlos Alcaraz is back in action at the Italian Open. The world No. 3 was forced to pull out of the recent Masters 1000 in Madrid after picking up two thigh injuries, but he’s now “100 per cent ready” to get going in Rome. And Alcaraz isn’t the only one making a comeback this week, as Jannik Sinner has returned from a three-month suspension.
