CLEVELAND — The Milwaukee Brewers will try to avoid a three-game sweep at the hands of the Cleveland Guardians on May 14. Right-hander Logan Henderson makes his second start of the year while right-hander Gavin Williams gets the ball for Cleveland.

Until the 6th inning, it looked as if the Guardians were poised to pull off the sweep of the Guardians. A Sal Frelick homer in the 5th tied the game, and Gavin Williams was pulled after 5 (5IP 4H 1BB 2ER 6K, lowered ERA to 4.29).

Sal Frelick circled the bases after his tying home run cleared the center-field wall Wednesday afternoon, then he chucked his helmet in the dugout while letting out a yell. It wasn’t out of anger. It was an emotional release meant to fire up the ballclub.
