As part of a ceasefire, Hamas released three Israeli hostages, including Omer Shem Tov, who kissed two of his captors.

Shem Tov, an Israeli hostage, was seen kissing the forehead of a Hamas terrorist before being released. His father stated that he was compelled to do so by his captors.

Watching the release, Cohen’s family and friends in Israel chanted “Eliya, Eliya, Eliya!” and cheered when they saw him for the first time. Shem Tov’s grandmother exclaimed in joy as he saw him, crying: “Omer, my joy, my life.”
