President Donald Trump met with victims' families and surveyed the damage of catastrophic floods that struck the state one week ago.

Texas Governor Abbott has secured federal disaster aid for five more counties after floods, enabling FEMA assistance for emergency work and infrastructure repair.

There are still three people missing in Travis County and in Burnet County, a Marble Falls volunteer fire chief has yet to be found.

A flood watch is in effect into July 15 for more than a dozen counties as saturated ground gets drenched again.
