RENTON, Wash. — A wrong-way driver is dead after slamming into a semi-truck while driving south on northbound State Route 167 in Renton. The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday just south of Interstate 405 near 180th and closed all northbound lanes. The lanes reopened shortly after 8 a.m.

A driver going south in the northbound lanes hit a semitruck on the highway near Interstate 405, according to the Washington State Patrol.
