The Broncos drafting Jahdae Barron was a case of the rich getting richer. They already have cornerback Patrick Surtain II, the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year. The secondary also boasts Riley Moss, Talanoa Hufanga and another Longhorn in Brandon Jones ― each of whom have been proven as solid contributors.

Jahdae Barron became one of the six Texas Longhorns to be taken in the first round of the NFL Draft these past three years.

The 2024 Jim Thorpe Award winner as the nation’s top defensive back, Barron joins a secondary anchored by reigning NFL defensive player of the year Pat Surtain II, third-year man Riley Moss and high-quality nickel Ja’Quan McMillian.
