"This strategic decision will involve relocating KFC U.S. corporate office employees currently in Louisville, Kentucky, to the KFC and Pizza Hut Global headquarters in Plano, Texas. In addition, U.S.-based remote employees will be asked to relocate to the campus where their work happens."

Yum, the parent company, and the KFC Foundation will keep offices in Louisville. More than 500 workers will still be based there. Taco Bell and Habit Burger & Grill will remain headquartered in Irvine.

KFC U.S. is leaving Louisville. Louisville-based Yum Brands Inc. announced Tuesday that it is relocating KFC’s corporate brand headquarters to Plano, Texas, combining with the Pizza Hut brand HQ in the Dallas suburb. Roughly 100 local corporate roles are affected, with relocations happening over the next six months.
