Israel must meet international obligations regarding the provision of humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza, the foreign ministers of Britain, France and Germany said in a joint statement on Wednesday.

France, Germany, and the UK have voiced deep concern over Israel’s halt of humanitarian aid to Gaza, urging sustained ceasefire efforts.

The mechanism charged with controlling the implementation of the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah proves efficient, say French senior officials.

The IDF withdrew from Lebanon on February 18, adhering to the target date set in the ceasefire agreement. However, it maintains a presence at five strategic locations north of the Lebanese border in coordination with the United States.

On Wednesday, a crowd gathered at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, in an orange-colored solidarity display of support with Israel. It was triggered by the return of the bodies of Shiri Bibas and her children Ariel and Kfir who were murdered while being held captive by Hamas in Gaza.

Officials say negotiations would also include the future of Israeli military outposts in Lebanon and of Lebanese prisoners still held in Israel.

Lebanese media reported that the released hostages had arrived in a hospital in southern Lebanon city of Tyre.

Israel said Tuesday it killed a senior Hezbollah militant responsible for drones and missiles, even as it freed Lebanese prisoners as a "goodwill" gesture to the country's new president.
