Guests who make reservations in their own cities must acknowledge Airbnb’s no-party policy and will see a warning that tells them if they break that rule, they face suspension or removal from the platform. Customers also get the warning when making reservations for others.

Airbnb is intensifying its efforts to prevent house parties during the Fourth of July holiday by introducing what it refers to as "anti-party technology" in Atlanta. The app has implemented a ban on parties at properties listed on its platform.

The company says it's eyeing out several aspects: whether it's a last-minute booking, how many nights, the type of desired listing and the spot's location in relation to the main residence of the guest.
