A three-time Cy Young Award winner, Clayton Kershaw was guaranteed $7.5 million in the agreement announced Feb. 13.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have reportedly signed Clayton Kershaw to a one-year deal, pending a physical, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. It is unclear when the 18-year veteran will pitch in a regular season game this year.

The 36-year-old southpaw expects to go on the 60-day injured list following offseason foot and knee surgery, but hopes to be close to ready when eligible to be activated.

In a long-expected move, Kershaw agreed to return to the Dodgers for an 18th season, according to ESPN. The contract is pending a physical for Kershaw, who missed the final month of the 2024 regular season and all of the Dodgers’ World Series run with a ruptured plantar plate and arthritis in his left foot.
