To commemorate the 50 years of Casio watches, the company unveiled a new design on the GMW-B5000. This model was the first ever G-Shock watch, which is now getting a design overhaul.

The G-SHOCK GMW-B5000SS, meanwhile, reimagines the blocky GMW-B5000 in a fully metal design, along with a thick blue band – and a thinner gold ring – encircling the face of the watch.

Second, the watch is decorated with a special pattern inspired by the circuitry of the no. 3459 module that powers the GMW-B5000 series. The combination makes for a new, very special, premium G-Shock.
