ANKENY, Iowa — John Deere will lay off nearly 120 employees at a facility in Ankeny this spring due to a reduced demand for equipment. A spokesperson for John Deere told Local 5 that 119 employees at John Deere Des Moines Works will be affected by upcoming layoffs on March 28, April 4 and April 28.
