Tiger Woods has passed on his final chance to play in the Players Championship.  Woods' name was absent when the Players field for 2025 was released shortly after 5 p.m. ET by the PGA Tour.

Tiger Woods and the PGA Tour have both confirmed that the American will not be featuring at The Players Championship. The 49-year old was left out of the final field for the TPC event at the Sawgrass next week.
