Nearly flooded Texas lake forces opening of Buchanan Dam gates

The last time the gates were open at Buchanan Dam was 2019. The LRCA's move to open the gates Monday comes after another 6-10 inches of rain fell over parts of Central Texas over the weekend, NBC News reported. The San Saba, along with the Llano and Lampasas rivers, flooded in some places.
